See It, Say It, Stop It was a designed campaign authored by the THHS DECA Team this past school year.  DECA students did presentations during school assemblies to address bullying concerns and prevention strategies.  They won honors at the state and national levels for their leadership roll in marketing this concept.

STEPPIN' UP is an initiative that began in 2012-2013 at the Minnehaha in coordination with Jim Jelinski from Creative Education Services to address bullying and school climate concerns.  STEPPIN' UP teaches students learn about five main concepts that we want them to understand and practice:  caring, responsibility, courage, honesty, and respect.  Teachers and staff members can acknowledge students who they have "caught" in the act of doing one of these concepts.  Students are then recognized at a school assembly for their efforts.
In 2013-2014, we worked hard on voice level in our school.  Students were given a rating system for their voices from 0-4.  Posters were made and displayed with the level of voice in every area of the building.  We worked on making every staff member empowered to use this system.
